Great Lures for Fly Fishing
I recently tried these topwater poppers on a fishing trip, and they worked like a charm. Caught a few bass and bluegill using them. They have a nice action on the water, and the fish seemed really attracted to them. Good quality and held up well after multiple catches.
Fall apart
These poppers look good, but fall apart quickly. The paint comes off and the tails slip to the back of the hook.
Can't complain!
You really can’t complain about these poppers as you get quite a few for the price. They are not ready to fish out of the package. You will need to poke through the paint to expose the eye but let me tell you, they work and they work well. They are slightly larger compared to my Betts poppers but surprisingly, they make more disturbance on the surface. Not to mention, they cast perfectly on my 6wt. I used the white one this morning and caught about 10 bass. After the last bass, everything has fallen apart. It’s not all bad as I can simply re-tie the popper. For the money, I definitely recommend them.
